Our monthly trail stewardship program continues Sunday, March 5 with a workday in the vicinity of Nadelos Campground in King Range National Conservation Area. The event runs from 10a.m. to 2p.m. and work will consist of limbing, brushing, water-barring and trail tread repair on portions of Chemise Mountain Trail, the Bear Creek Nature Trail, and two short trails that intersect with Chemise Mtn Trail. Meet 10a.m. at Nadelos Campground on Chemise Mountain Rd.  Tools and gloves provided. FOLC and BLM KRNCA will also offer a limited number of $10/hr stipends to local youth, ages 12-16.  To RSVP or for youth stipend info, email justin@lostcoast.org.
